We have carefully planned each day to take you through Tanzania's most remarkable safari destinations. From the gateway of Arusha to the vast plains of the Serengeti and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, each stage of the journey brings a new wildlife experience.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to Arusha. Take time to relax at your accommodation and prepare for your safari adventure.

Overnight: Arusha
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Northern Serengeti. Travel through changing landscapes as you enter the Serengeti ecosystem. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy your first game drive in the northern part of the park, with opportunities to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and predators.

Overnight: Northern Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring Northern Serengeti, one of the key areas of the Great Migration. Depending on the season and movement of the herds, you may witness large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra moving through the ecosystem.
The area is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and many other species. Your guide will follow wildlife activity and seasonal movements to make the most of your game-viewing experience.
Overnight: Northern Serengeti
Enjoy another full day of safari in Northern Serengeti. Explore different areas of the park in search of wildlife while taking in the open plains, rocky kopjes and beautiful scenery.
The Great Migration is a natural movement, so the exact location of the herds varies throughout the year. Your safari guide will help you follow the wildlife activity and seasonal movements.

Wake up to another day in the Serengeti. Enjoy a full-day game drive through Central Serengeti, exploring areas known for rich wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
With a full day in the park, there is plenty of time to search for the Big Five and observe the daily rhythms of the Serengeti’s wildlife.
Overnight: Central Serengeti
After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive along the way before continuing to your accommodation around Karatu or Ngorongoro.
The landscape changes as you leave the Serengeti plains and approach the highlands surrounding the Ngorongoro Crater.

Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
The crater offers an exceptional concentration of wildlife within its natural surroundings. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with some luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.
After the game drive, ascend from the crater and return to your accommodation for your final night in the Ngorongoro area.
Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your departure arrangements, you may have time for lunch or a short stop in Arusha before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
Your Great Migration safari comes to an end with memories of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes and unforgettable safari experiences.
