Itinerary
We have carefully planned each day to take you through Tanzania's most remarkable safari destinations. From the gateway of Arusha to the vast plains of the Serengeti and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, each stage of the journey brings a new wildlife experience.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to Arusha. Relax at your accommodation and prepare for the exciting safari ahead.

Overnight: Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for your first safari experience. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife.
Enjoy a game drive through the park, looking out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and many bird species before heading to your accommodation.

Overnight: Tarangire
After breakfast, leave Tarangire and continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through the scenic highlands of northern Tanzania.
Arrive in the Ngorongoro area and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Karatu. If time allows, take a short nature walk or relax at your accommodation.

Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu
Rise early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife. Search for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and the endangered black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your wildlife exploration. Later, return to your accommodation for another relaxing evening.
Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu
After breakfast, leave the Ngorongoro highlands and travel towards Central Serengeti.
Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way as you enter the Serengeti. The central area is known for its year-round wildlife and is an excellent place to search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants and large herds of plains animals.

Overnight: Central Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti in search of the Big Five.
Start early when wildlife is most active and explore different areas of the park with your guide. Look for lions resting near rocky kopjes, elephants moving across the plains and large herds of zebra and wildebeest.
With a full day in the Serengeti, there is also time to enjoy the landscape, take photographs and experience the peaceful rhythm of the African wilderness.
Overnight: Central Serengeti
Enjoy an early morning game drive before beginning your journey back to Arusha.
Travel through the Serengeti and surrounding landscapes, with opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way. Continue to Arusha for lunch or a short rest before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
Your 7-day Big Five safari ends with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
